My dad brought this as he works up London during week. It has served him well.
Great way to live cheap in London.
Mooring cost £350pm boat licence £600 per year.
Boat safety cert is due this July £120, I will find out. For previous certs my Dad disconnected the fridge and log burner so he did not need to repair for it. He says it will just need new fire extinguishers.
We intended to fit a new bathroom but never bothered since the marina has very good showers etc.
I started the engine today and it was running just as well as it was when we took it out to East London and back 8 years ago.
It really needs just a few weeks work to get it to a £15000 boat.
It has a brand new set of curtains my mum made but my dad never fitted. These just need the clips to go on the rail. They are red and shown in the photo of the living area.
The living area is open with no furniture and a wooden floor. All internals are in good condition and just needs a clean or a repaint.
The log burner heats a radiator in the bed room.
Work needed sand and paint outside.
Reconnect fire, which need a new fume and glass. My dad just used a fan heater insted.
New floor boards for the rear deck, you just need to buy the wood and use the current ones as a template, easy in a few hours.
The inside could do with a throught clean most of which will be done when he moves out on the 25th June.
Optional bathroom the current one works but I would install a proper toilet with holding tank.
I just don’t have time and my dad is just happy to sell it as it is so he can concentrate on fixing his motobike up.
I don’t think you will find such a solid boat for such a good price and £350 a month for a Monday to Friday morning or it can be moved to a full mooring for a little more. I think it’s under £100 extra per month.
You don’t have to have the mooring but it’s paid for 3month and as part of the sale I need to be paid for 2 of those at £350.
The marina also requires 10% of the sale price to keep the mooring so at the starting price of £3500 that would be £350.
So please note that you will have to pay the additional cost of £700 to me and 10% (£350 minimum) to the marina. My dad will be moving out by 25th. You would be welcome to do anything with the boat in the few days between the auction ending and my dad moves out.
I have more photos and the boat can be viewed most evenings during the week after 6.
Open to offers through ebays best offer. But we would not accept less than £5000 or I will let the auction run.
Sorry this is not nessary for 99% of ebayers so if your one of the 99% your probably don’t need to read this. This is an auction, a contract is formed. usually I don’t get bothered by people not collecting or paying for an item, but my dad will have to pay for all the cost above and so if you win this item it’s yours and you aggre to all the costs outlined. I will make a clame for all costs and my time if the contract is not honered.
