Scorpio 3 is a 60′ x 12’6 luxurious wide beam built in 2021 by Collingwood Boat Builders. Propulsion is provided by a 60HP Canaline diesel engine. She is a popular reverse layout with a Euro cruiser stern with hydraulic wheel steering and Vetus bow thrusters.
Entering onto the stern housed by a brand new pram cover, you will see a beautifully upholstered seating area, complete with an extendable table and tek dek style flooring. On entry to the L-Shape galley via the removable steps at the stern, this homespun, warm, and open-plan design immediately spoke out to me, and you will imagine yourself sitting comfortably down in the evenings enjoying a drink as your feet warm in front of the fire.
The galley is fitted with a floor-to-ceiling 240v fridge/freezer, wine cooler, and 3 burner linear hob with extractor fan. The oven, grill, and built-in microwave are fitted in a high-rise stack conveniently on the stern bulkhead. The galley features oak worktops and is complimented with a stunning engineered oak floor throughout the length of the boat.
In the saloon, the main feature is the 10KW solid fuel stove with a beautifully tiled fire surround. The headroom is approximately 8ft from floor to ceiling. Hardwood, oak trims, and bespoke made cupboards and fittings are a consistent feature throughout the vessel. You can see that storage has been considered when designing this boat.
The corridor has been cleverly converted into a washing station, perfect for liveaboards, and yet it has been concealed beautifully by means of bespoke crafted cupboards. It is fitted with a heat pump washing machine, a full-size drier, and space for clothes to be stored.
Adjacent to this is the off-corridor shower room. A unique white wash cladding wall compliments a room gifted with a large double shower, Thetford cassette toilet, vanity basin, and an additional double skin radiator.
Finally, at the bow of the boat is the master bedroom/home office, for those who require a space to work onboard. This can be easily converted for those that do not wish to have an office in the bedroom. A super king-size bed with storage below is the center of the room, with floor-to-ceiling wardrobes fitted to the left and deep draws fitted in front. A large projector will display your favorite films on a drop-down screen from the cabin side for those cosy movie nights in bed.
The well deck is complete with a seated area to enjoy a morning coffee and has additional storage with built-in steel units.
