Hello and welcome to my somewhat reluctant sale of my first ever boat. I have now bought another boat and taken my next step. This boat is ready to use and enjoy the summer holidays, well it was but as the summer is all but gone I’ve reduced the price quite significantly and I’m sure will provide some lovely trips through the autumn months whilst preparing and making any changes the new owner may want to make ready for the new season in 2019.I believe that not only is this a great first boat it is one of the cheapest I have seen advertised for some time.I have owned the boat for just approaching 3 years in the next few weeks. It happily sleeps two adults and 2-3 children depending on ago and how cosy you like to be.I have deliberately only performed subtle upgrades so as to not spoil the original style of the boat (rightly or wrongly). The engine was changed to something more modern in 2016with a unit from 2006 around the same time it was taken out of the water, cleaned, anti fouled and hull polished and the wooden strakes refinished. She also has a full new boat safety done a week or so ago.Right about the boat….internally starting from the front….At the very front there is a v berth/sofa arrangement with cupboard and sliding doors above. Storage to both sides below the sofas. Moving rear is a dining table, seating/double berth to the port side with 12v fridge below also and a kitchen area to starboard with a double ring gas job, overnight/grill, sink with cupboards below and an instant hot water gas boiler. Moving on is a toilet with porta loo and hand basin to port side and a tall wardrobe type cupboard to starboard. The toilet area does have a shower tray below but I’ve never used it for this purpose. To the very aft is a spacious seating area with seating for 2-3 on the bench sofa seat at the rear and fold away captains and navigators seat. There are 2 x large and 2 x small lift up floor sections to access the underfloor/bilge area where there is quite considerable storage space.Externally is fairly obvious. The fenders all bar the ball fenders were new when antifouled there are some other older ones I use in the marina etc. as its been known for people to bump when mooring in the Goole cross winds.I’ve fitted a solar panel, the one currently fitted is the one I use in winter (I can never remember the difference between mono and polychrystal but the winter one is the lower output/less efficient of the two) to keep things topped up. There is also a new solar panel also 125w I believe approx the same size which give more amps in summer. This is fitted to a dual battery charge controller which is can be set to what ratio goes to engine battery and what goes to house battery. Currently I think it’s set 80/20. I have a new dash being made which will be fitted prior to completion of any sale to move the ignition switch from the outboard controls up to the dash. There is a 12v tv included with 12v points fitted in the helm and kitchen area with a tv aerial fitted to the roof although I only generally use DVD…. There is a mains hookup/240v system but isn’t wired permanently to an inverter i.e. Only works on mains hook up. There is a small inverter included which could be used for this purpose by manual connection to the battery (I’ll check the rating for anyone interested but is quite small in the order of a few hundred watts). There’s also a 12v hair dryer and hair straighteners aboard somewhere should any buyer wish to keep them. It currently still has a kettle for the stove and various items which I am slowly emptying off. Useful items like the stove kettle, mains kettle and toaster etc will remain and I can remove if they are of no use to the buyer.Externally the GRP is in reasonable condition on the top sides with some crazing now becoming apparent particularly on the gunwhales. The hull itself is spot on and polishes beautifully….the swim platforms I added in 2016 to hopefully assist in the unlikely event of prop fouling. The outboard is a 2006 Yamaha 9.9 hi thrust fitted with rudder extension which is fabulous compared to use without. I managed to steer quite comfortably with engine off one afternoon with a gentle breeze pushing on the back canopy for a mile or so….The ropes currently connected are what I use when tied up there is a variety of good clean, warps aboard for when out and about as well as several new ones included. Also included are mooring pins, mooring hooks, mooring chains etc for tying up to armco and a lock windlass and a watermate key. There is toilet chemical included so everything is ready to use. There are new LED nav lights as well as an LED tunnel light should any new owner want to fit them. There are probably other things, spare fuel cans, engine spares and similar in my garage.I believe the mooring could be retained – I did when I bought it with a conversation with the marina. Also would like to add the photos out on the river are from last summer rather than today so to speak….No test drives just for fun unless a prospective subject to river test is agreed prior.
