Meet Tiddy Mouse! 20′ x 6′ of the most adorable (and portable!) canal boat you’ve ever seen. She is a rare ‘Water Rat’, designed and built by Ian Graham of Wilderness Boats in the early 70’s (wildernessboats.com). Water rats were built to be like camper vans – they go onto a trailer and you can pull them with a car to the canal, slip in for a cruise and then drive home when you’re done!
She’s not been in the water for a number of years, but there’s no reason to believe that she isn’t water tight. I have lived on her for a short time and was going to put her in my back garden in London as a unique guest house/garden room. She is the ultimate if you are looking to do the Tiny House thing. Please note that the current trailer she sits on isn’t road worthy.
Have a look at the photos and feel free to contact me with any questions. At the moment, she is in Wakefield, where I live on another narrow boat. I’m gutted to let her go, but sadly, my plans have changed so I need to. Act quick, there are virtually none of these out there – especially at this price!
