For sale is my beloved, unusual, rustic 1976(not a springer) 47ft steel Simolda boat ‘Saoirse’. This partial project spray foam insulated cruiser stern narrow boat with a fantastic Lister engine was bought last year as a project. Everything you see has been done professionally in the last 18 months incl all new wood work, kitchen , plumbing for cooker. Cold tap plumbed in with working pump , electrics, engine servicing. Made in Crewe. Offers considered. She has had various owners and is looking for a loving owner to enjoy her!

Please note the bidding price does Not include plating. We can agree a price if you would like plating to be included. This was how Colin broke down the hull costs, he’s at Devizes , you can also go to another welder . The boat is not in danger of sinking. Crucial works are:

*She is moored at Bath, no mooring available from us as we CC. That means continuous cruise where you move every 2 weeks on a standard license. Please contact Canal and River Trust or a marina for Moorings. You will also need Basic Boat Insurance.
