As the winter nights draw in and the promise of a warm spring breeze seems a long way off, now is the time to begin the change from pouring your money into that ravenous capitalist rent pit, and into the boat and the life you always dreamed of. At £19,950, Vios is equivalent to two years rent on a studio flat in Ruislip.
With Trumatic gas heating, 12v electrics and a solar panel, she’s a great budget option to getting on the water. Propulsion comes from a reliable modern Thornycroft diesel inboard engine and at 38ft, she’s extremely easy to drive, turn and moor (even if you’ve no experience).
She was surveyed in Holland before she was imported and we carried out the recommendations here at Hemel Marina last week (December 2023). At the same time we blacked the hull and attached new anodes.
As an import, there is no BSS (we can put you in touch with someone who can sort that out for you). There is no mooring offered with this boat. We can deliver anywhere in mainland UK for a fee, alternatively, you can cruise away from us here, we’re on the Grand Union Canal on the way to Central London.
