17Ft Fishing Boat – Project.
This is a Shetland, Orkney type clinker fishing boat.
It’s an unfinished project due to family commitments but
will not take much to finish off.
The boat comes with 3 outboards that will all need testing
and servicing/recommissioning.
These are an Evinrude 50 VRO – Suzuki DT30 and an auxiliary
Mercury 4.5hp all are two stroke outboard’s that did run before the boat was
put into storage. The Evinrude and Suzuki both come with remote controls and the
Suzuki is pull start only.
As you will see from the photos the boat also comes with a
very good road worthy trailer.
It has a newly refurbished steering console with new steering
system and switch panel. The roof lining has been removed and recovered and
when doing this new wiring, navigation and interior lights have been fitted as
well. The hull has been polished and you can see from the photos I have started
on the topside of the boat as well and will continue this process when time
allows but will not take much to finish this off and bring back to life. The
top side of the hull also has some superficial cracks in the gel coat and does
need some slight repair, I have started to repair these and will carry with
this when/if I have time as well.
The boat come with many new/used items like compass, radio
and anchor/chain and rope.
