1943 Ex- Naval Supply Ship. Pitch pine on a solid oak frame. Real traditional 10m wooden ship of antique appearance and a very historical past. She used to supply the naval ships in the Thames estuary during the war. She is a large sea cruiser, with a fully covered top deck. 2 x 2.2litre twin diesel engines, full kitchen gally, gas cooker/hobs/sink/sockets/cupboards/storage. Antique lounge with 2 x seats/beds/or double bed. Music stereo. Toilet, shower, racks. Log burner and flu, stove. Steps. Traditional wooden wheelhouse. Rear bedroom sleeps another 2 people, with 2 beds or 1 large double if needed.Front 30m anchor locker room. Small mast on top deck. Sunbath on top decks. Gas bottle at rear. Old compass. Few tech gadgets. Vhf radio, sonar, GPS etc. Gear knob. Steering wheel. Solid hull with concrete keel. High sides to boat. Stands 12 feet at front & 10 feet at rear. 3m wide. Wheelhouse stands 12 feet from keel. Beam 3ft 9 to 4ft 2 ish. Project boat, needs 5 planks doing on one side and maybe a few on other or scattered about. Hull seems solid. Needs full paint job restoration, some seals/seams, some re-corking, filling, anti-fouling, oxide paint etc, top decks, around windows need attention and top decks slight attention in couple of areas. Twin 2.2litre diesel BMC engines are huge and will need servicing and totally bringing back to a working order. Rudder needs repairing, anodes, air inlet valve checking etc. Nice old antique wooden pre-war ship of 1943. Not many of these about anymore. But she will need attention and it is a total project boat, so full restoration will indeed be for the pure love of it! Quite a bit to do; but golden once done. Was 24k originally sold at before myself bought it. Could be worth that again if was restored properly. Once fully restored, she could be used at sea if made real strong again and inspected first I suppose. Or, she’ll make a nice house boat or liveaboard and/or at sea, or can go on rivers due to 3 ft 9 draft (hull size depth). 10m length. Crane off yard = approx £200 Lorry haulage quote for 3 to 400 miles was approx £1400. So if right up north, it would be about £2000 to transport it I would say approx 200 miles would be about £900 to £1200. Ring around for quotes is best. Buyer must pay for your own lorry haulage and yard crane onto your lorry costs, on top of the winning bid price. So do the maths and get haulage and crane quotes to collect it properly.Buyer pays in cash in-person, or immediate bank transfer in-person (or bank transfer from afar). Once transfer is cleared, the deal is done. Don’t forget to allow for lorry haulage costs and yard crane onto your arranged lorry costs.Sold as seen, no returns. Many Thanks! Happy Bidding! A historical house boat could be yours! Any questions, drop me a message.
