Welcome to my sale of ** Little May **Bought the Boat etc a couple of months ago as a little lock down project which is now ready for new owners, See details below:Boat:The boat is a CJR Dory 14 (14ft) by around 5ft wide.I have rubbed the boat down and repainted it with boat paint (not cheap lol).I have also replaced the 4 wooden lid on the tops of the benches using marina ply and painted over. The boat looks in good condition from what i can see of it, the only bits i cant see is where it sits on the rollers on the trailer so of course i have painted round these as dont have the machine to lift off. As with anything i would always advise to have things checked over by a professional before going out on the open water. (to cover my back lol)Mariner 40hp 2 stroke Outboard:When I bought her the old decors etc where very faded and missing bits so I have removed the old decors, rubbed down the outboard to cover and resprayed it and applied brand new decors, also sprayed the fins at the bottom. The outboard is wired to the battery so is electric start and also pull start. comes with the original metal fuel tank (dont see many around anymore) is a little rusty but does the job. I have done nothing to the engine etc as I no nothing really about mechanic’s but i have had it in a barrel of water today and it fired up on the second turn of key with some choke (i have i video of the outboard running as it takes too long to fill water up and empty it etc so please send me your number and i can watts app you the video which was taking today 11/05/2021) you will see on the video that it seems to run good but with me not been a mechanic i would always suggest you give it a quick service before going out on her.Boat Trailer:The boat comes on a nice Orkney Strikeliner16 single axle trailer, again i have done very little to the trailer as seems good to me and towed home with no issues that i know about. I towed it about 130 miles. Again would always get it checked over by a professional before doing long journeys.She looks a cracking little boat and with a good check over she could be the bargain of the year for some one with a fresh lick of boat paint and all new decors etc she is ready to go.You will need to bring a few straps to strap her to trailer and a light board to keep legal of course.I would possible take a PX to help out with finances as i know money is tight for every one at moment, i would possible take another boat as a project or Trailers, Quad, golf buggy (Try me but no cars or motorbikes as no nothing about engines lol)The boat is cash on collection or bank transfer but no paypalCollection only due to size of course and i dont have time to deliver before you ask plus who ever buys her i would prefer you to view first and be 100% with her before you pay as of course the boat etc is all sold as seen with no returns or warrantyPlease conatct me via eBay or use contact details on last pictureBoring stuff:Sorry to all genuine people but as we all no there’s loads of messer’s on here so need to cover my own backPlease remember I AM NOT a boat engineer and just a DIY’er that enjoys a challenge or 2.All the information i give you is ether of what the previous owner told me or what i think but beleave it or not im not all ways right even though i tell the wife i am lol.i have never seen the boat in the water even though when i collect the boat the previous owner told me he had only taken it out of the water a week before with no known faults when in water but like i said i have never seen it in water so can only go with what he says. When i painted the underneath i sore nothing that would say to me the boat has been repaired etc even though i wouldnt really know what im looking for so this is why i would prefer new owner to come view first before buying and check they are happy with everything before buying as like i have said the boat etc is sold as seen with no returns, refund or warranty at all so make sure you are 100% happy before buying.Sorry for going on but just want to cover my own back as there is no returns or warranty etc. I know i am probably selling the boat short as it looks a cracking boat but just dont want any come back so would rather sell her as a bargain for someone than make £1000’s on her.Thank you for taking the time to look at my listing & please all stay safe
