Here is a Famouse Polperro 20ft fishing boat with a fiberglass hull. She spent most of her life fishing from Polperro in Cornwall and has featured on lots of post cards, Christmas cards and have even seen her image on a cushion in a shop down there. When my wife and I bought her she came with a Ford 60hp inboard (will need some work and installing). The boat herself does need a bit of work, some rot in the plywood wheel house, gunwhales will need some fixing up, rudder refurbishing, gantry either removed or some welding to make good again & paint work re-done. The hull and deck are sound.
We are sad to see her go as we would have loved to complete the project however we work abroad 10 months of the year and just don’t have the time.
We would prefer to see her go to someone with the love and time to bring Puffin Olly back to the way she was and perhaps one day motor her back into the port if polperro for a historical welcome.
She currently is stored out of the water at Voyager Boat Yard, Millbrook, Torpoint for a fee of £80 a month (new owners to take over payment or move her elsewhere) yard has all facilities to work on her there but upto new owners.
