Project Boat. 21 ft Scorpion V hull Fishing boat with 40hp Evenrude commercial grade outboard motor and trailer.I
have had this boat for 5 years with the view to restoring it, but I just
haven’t had the time. I now need the space on my drive so it has to go.
No reserve and starting at £1. I was told by the prevoius
owner that the outboard came from a life boat and was serviced just
before I bought the boat. It hasn’t been run for over 4 years so will
need a clean up and service. I think the hydraulic seals have gone on
the tilt and trim so will need sorting. The boat was full of water in the
pictures and shows that the GRP hull holds water. I have since pumped all
the water out. The boat is a blank canvas. I ripped out all the
internal linings with the view to a full re fit. The floor was replaced by the previous owner and is still all good. The boat originally had an in board
engine but this was removed at some stage. A new transum fitted to take
the outboard. The Transum looks sound and without rot. The trailer is a
four wheeled trailer. When I bought the boat I towed it from Bristol to
Norwich and was fine but this was 5 years ago so hopefully is still all okay. There are 4 new tyres on the trailer. The trailer looks like it was
home made and is un-braked but good for just launching and bringing the
boat home from the local river. I started painting one side
of the boat but the other side is just white so either needs finishing
to the other side or the stripes can be paint stripped and sanded back
to the original gel coat. I do have some of the cushions from the inside but these need re-covering. The boat is located just outside of Norwich. You are welcome to come and view.
