This 23ft x 9ft boat was built by the Dauntless Co, of  Ipswich in 1955, clinker construction of mahogany planks on English oak frames. Whilst the hull is sound, this cannot be said of the cabin where large areas of the marine ply are rotten. Obviously, if one did not wish to repair the cabin, all of it could be removed to produce an open fishing boat. The good points:- the Volvo Penta twin cylinder diesel engine has been overhauled and is fed by a brand new 110 litre fuel tank and controlled by Morse gear. The cabin has 2 x 6ft berths with cushions, the head fully plumbed to take the sea toilet. The galley consist of a two burner/grill cooker and a three way power fridge. The water tap is automatic, as is the bilge pump that scavenges the hull. This is a serious project, but on successful completion would yield a £10k boat. Having a purpose built trailer/launcher enables the new owner to explore all areas of the UK and abroad, without being moored to one particular spot. Viewing is recommended, and while I will provide three ratchet harnesses, it is the responsibility of the new owner to secure the boat. Pay is cash only on collection.  Why am I selling the boat? I am 74yrs and I want my toys to be fully finished.

Current Price: £2000.00
