Steel Fishing Boat Work Boat

For sale is a 25ft steel fishing boat and work boat. This boat was brought by us to as part of a job lot deal of items last year and we have no use for it. The hull is in good condition with some small amounts of over plating done. Wheel house and cuddly are also in good condition with the job being a deep clean and a paint. Electrics on board do work but are limited to a very slim amount. Engine and running gear are in poor condition the boat was brought as a non runner and dose not drive under its own power, we were told the engine dose start and run and we have turned it over. I was told the engine suffers from overheating issues and this is more than likely with the state of the cooling system and how the hoses are run. The fuel system is not functioning either with the fuel tank rotted out and random fuel lines going everywhere, would strongly recommend a new tank and lines be installed. The decks are steel framed with plywood boards if we were to keep this boat we would look at decking in the back and making it water tight, but as it is it works fine and would need some of the boards replacing. Overall condition it very good and it’s a very nice sized boat for one or more people to handle we did look at the intention of putting a towing post in and replacing the engine along with a new pushing bow as the one that was put on is of questionable origin. We have a spare ford 6d and can be included at a separate negotiation. With the engine repaired or replaced and the boat painted up it would make a very good fishing boat down on the coast or on the upper Thames where she is based.
