Hypalon ribs are the only choice if you are considering keeping a boat in warmer climes, but it is also a much stronger hard wearing material and the preferred choice for safety/rescue boats, working boats and tenders. This rib is unmarked but if you did have to get it repaired, rib repair companies will guarantee the work with Hypalon, (many won’t touch PVC) as it is easier and better to repair than PVC. Hypalon is an expensive optional extra, normally a few thousand extra on this size rib and therefore most Zodiacs are the standard PVC material.
The hull is in excellent condition. It is fantastically strong with a thick grp double skin and three chamber, .45 meter diameter tubes making this boat a very capable boat for almost any conditions. This is an ideal size RIB tender for sport and family fun as it is easily manageable single handed, cheap to run, a fantastic sea boat that gives you a really safe feeling with young family. The brand, weight (under 200kg with outboard) Hypalon tubes and 4 davit lifting points make them very popular as either Davit slung, luxury yacht swim platform or deck stowed tenders.
A generic term in many parts of the world, Zodiac have been going strong for over 100 years. The Hypalon Neo 340 is one of the most highly regarded ribs available, these boats were designed to be tougher than the rest and withstand Zodiac’s rigorous safety tests and to have a higher level of quality than the majority of the market. The hull section is fantastically strong with no weak points around the transom due to large longitudinal supports.
This rib is fitted with a practical steering console which offers a good amount of storage with a large bow locker with bow cushion. With a maximum capacity rating of 6 passengers (5+1) the Neo 340 has a payload rating of 610kg.
The immaculate 2012 20hp Yamaha outboard is powerful on this rib tender and it flies along, it’s practical and economical and capable of pulling a junior skier, wakeboarder or inflatables.
The four stroke outboard has just been fully serviced including waterpump, fuel system clean, plugs oils and filters.
The boat is particularly well balanced with good weight distribution also with good seating position and battery under the helm, the boat comes up onto the plane with ease.

If purchased It comes with a brand new trailer board and the rib will be strapped down ready to go, you will just need a number plate.
Viewing is available anytime daytime or evening as all our boats are stored inside in a well-lit building. If you don’t need the trailer because it is going on a mooring or as a tender for a yacht please contact us, we can deliver and launch depending on your location.
