Great little starter RIB. We bought this to see us through the season until we could buy a bigger one which seats our extended family. This 5.5 metre RIB comfortably seats 6, with 3 double jockey seats (one with storage 2 with fuel tanks) – When we bought it, it had had the deck replaced but needed a bit of TLC, so we have had the gearbox rebuilt at a cost of £1300 by Chris Brown Marine in Braunton. Power Trim & Tilt seals replaced, new bilge pump (but didn’t have the right connector so that will need doing, not a big job), new automatic bilge pump switch, one new battery, new fuel valve and the engine has been serviced. The Engine is a BF130HP (even though the cowling says 115) The boat is seaworthy, in good working order and the fibreglass hull is in good condition. We have had many brilliant trips out in it during this short season and had lots of fun, however it would benefit from some further titivation such as having the wiring tidying up in the console, seats could do with recovering, and other minor jobs such as the addition of grab ropes (Should you want them) etc. Does have a couple of small patches on one section (not visible to the untrained eye, under the back right section) but retains air for 24+ hours and this does not impede on safety (and even then it only sags a bit like most ribs of this age do) There is also slight cosmetic damage on the bow pontoon from rope chaffing (small scuff not on pictures as happened when placed on a temporary mooring just this week) Please call or message before bidding so we can run through the small quirks. All in all for the money it is a great little RIB. If we were to have all the additional little jobs done, we’d be asking more money for it. It’s very nippy and lots of fun! Please note no trailer included but we can deliver locally (within 25 miles) or further afield by prior negotiation.
