Avon Searider SR4 4M 6man Hypalon Rib with jockey console boat only. The outboard and trailer are not included in this sale but are available. The auction is for the boat and the jockey console seating only, the outboard and it’s controls are not included. I can provide a fuel tank.This is a British built, one owner from new, RIB. It is spacious inside for a 4.0M. It is a very safe boat as it has an ingenious hull design that makes the boat very stable at slow speeds and the reason why they are so popular for safety and rescue work. It also has plenty of deck space to move around and a safe feel with the large tubes. This rib is very versatile and of course would be an ideal club safety boat, a safe family boat, dive boat or a great fishing boat. The boat is made of Hypalon which uses a hand layup process which creates a very tough boat which is particularly resistant to UV rays. The tubes have had a couple of patches some time ago which could be improved or re-done but stay hard. This is an extremely safe very well built rib with a maximum engine size of 50hp. This is probably the most practical size boat available as it will fit in a standard size garage, much bigger and the boat either needs to be outside under a cover or in a storage facility. It is also a nice size to handle on the slipway and to pull up onto a beach. So what you have here is a rib with a good deep V hull and large tubes great seaworthiness and speed with great internal space for a family. The trailer which has only been used in fresh water is not included in this sale but available if required and is the ideal size for this rib with a swing beam for easy recovery that tows superbly with wheel bearings in good condition.
