Humber 4.2 m RIB with Johnson 30hp
outboard.
Humber Hypalon RIB in excellent
condition, no punctures, no repairs, holds air perfectly.
Centre console seat with steering
gear and engine remotes. Forward spray cover which is an excellent addition in
choppy seas.
I have enjoyed many trips out to sea
in calm and a stiff breeze as the hull handles the waves very well. (Humber
being renowned for their sea keeping capabilities so much so that the R.N.L.I.
use Humber RIB’s)
This boat is really easy to handle
and planes very quickly and “zip’s” along at approx 30+ knots, light
and very responsive, very easy to launch and recover single handed with the
Hallmark Trailer included, once clipped on the winch pulls the craft up and
into position with no problems.
The Johnson 2 stroke outboard is in
superb condition, had new plugs, coils and electronic ignition fitted last
year, serviced at the end of each season and then winterized. 20 litre 2 stroke
fuel tank is included in the sale, (still has approx’ 10lt of fuel in it).
It has electric start for ease of
use, no more pulling and pulling away fighting against engine compression!
Trailer is in good condition also
being washed off after each launch and bearings greased every season. The mud
guards are missing but this has never bothered me as I only tow for approx’ 1/2
mile to where I use the RIB. Package includes light alloy oars, battery and
battery box, pump to inflate sponsons (Never had to use it), couple of mooring
warps, a very thick and strong water tight cover that fits over the boat and
engine and protects the sponsons from bad weather and bright sunlight so as not
to fade. It can also be fitted while towing for extra protection.
I am only selling as poor health has
caught up with me (osteoporosis in my bones) and I struggle to use the boat on
my own now, so it is with real hardship that I will see it go having to accept
I can’t sail her on my own now but it is such a shame to see the RIB not being
used as it can provide so much fun for fishing or fun for a family or single
able bodied person.

will buy. I reserve the right to remove the RIB from sale at any time as I have
it advertised elsewhere. No foreign bidders unless by prior agreement with me
via contact the seller. Cash on collection only. Collection from my house or
local delivery can be supplied at an extra cost and being paid for in advance.

me beforehand) or your bid will be removed. Your winning bid is a legal
contract to buy at the bid price, not the right to negotiate after. I am sorry
for having to lay the law down in advance only there are some
“Numpties” out there who have no idea how it all works. Buyer will need to bring a couple of rachet straps or tie-downs and a trailer light board.
