For sale is my 2019 Quicksilver / Mercury 420HD (Heavy Duty) 4.2 metre SIB (not RIB) inflatable boat, in close to new condition. Rated for a maximum of 8 persons. We bought the boat from Bill Higham Marine in late 2019, soon before COVID lock down started. The original intention was to use it in the summer months but in reality, we’ve only put it in the water twice. We have decided to sell due to lack of use. It has always been stored under a cover and in a car port. It is therefore in outstanding condition and shows very few signs of use. There is no colour fading to the tubes at all. Needless to say, it has never had any patches or repairs, and holds air indefinitely.It has a modular aluminum floor which can be removed and the boat fully deflated to put into the back of a vehicle, if required. There are two thwart bench seats which can easily be removed (see photos with and without). Two onboard paddles. The outboard is a 2-stroke Mariner 30hp, circa 1990, with forward and reverse gears. We have owned this outboard since it was a few months old. Although old, it has had very little use (approx. 80 hours in total) and has been indoor stored. It runs extremely well and has been very reliable. As it’s two-stroke it is lighter (and faster) than the equivalent four-stroke (although noisier) and can be removed and put into a vehicle by two people. 25L fuel tank and line included. The trailer is an un-braked Indespension trailer, with winch. A good few years old but it’s solid and the winch works as it should. Tyres are relatively recent and not cracked. There is a spare wheel and tyre but I wouldn’t want to vouch for the tyre on the spare wheel. Old lighting board included for towing. Ready to use and enjoy this summer – whilst it lasts!
