Bombard Explorer 600
6 metre Bombard rib fitted with a Yamaha 130hp.
Beautifully kept. Starting at the bow and working aft. Inside you have a locker with seat cushion that stores the anchor and rope. Next you have a two person jockey seat centre console, fitted with a one year old Humminbird Helix 7 G4N chart plotter with depth, down scan, normal 2D sonar and side scan. The Icon VHF radio is also housed in the lockable dash, keeping it safe. I have also got the Garmin GPSMAP 178C that was on the boat when I first bought it. Hydraulic steering helm and the Yamaha gauges. Compass on top. There is a new switch/fuse panel for the electrical equipment. Down the starboard side of the helm is a spot light held by a stainless bracket. Under the seat is the Yamaha oil reservoir, battery with isolator switch, and fire extinguisher. Behind the seat is a custom made dive cylinder rack for two cylinders. There is a bench seat across the midships that has the 65litre fuel tank , a flare pack and space for storage.
There is a large flat deck area for moving around or setting up for diving.
A radar arch with nav lights, horn and VHF aerial. There is also a deck flood light and white anchor light. Tube for holding a flag pole.
The transom has a fuel/ water separator, automatic self draining cockpit drains with bungs. There is a one way valve hull drain fitted that can be fitted with a drain bung. Also towing eyes both sides of the engine for water ski lines.
The Yamaha 130hp V4 engine (2004) fitted with a stainless prop is bulletproof is fully serviced with new water pump last year.
The tubes have 5 chambers and last year I had the tubes removed and re fitted replacing the tapes.
The hull has a keel protector and has never been antifouled.
This is a fantastic stable boat with really great sea capabilities and I had this boat for 14 years and it runs faultlessly. Very quick, and extremely stable. There is a taylor made full heavy duty canvas cover that is in really great condition that covers the entire boat.
The trailer is new in may 2021 with a spare wheel and side marker lights. No trailer light board as I’ve kept it for my new boat.
The boat can be driven on and off the trailer with ease and can be launched single handed.
Decided to change boats as I’m not diving as much as I used to and wanted a boat more suited for lounging around on with the family.
This boat has been so well cared for and extremely reliable. I’m sure who ever buys her will have many more memorable days out on the water with her.
