Zodiac Cadet 285 Inflatable Boat with Mercury 5Hp 2 Stroke OutboardThe boat is 2.85m long and 1.5m wide, it has both an inflatable floor and keel which are inflated to a much higher pressure than the tubes and make the boat much more stable and rigid than a standard inflatable. The pump is two stage and has a pressure gauge to ensure that both the tubes and floor/keel are inflated to the correct pressure.I have owned both boat and engine from new and although they must be approaching 20 years old, the boat particularly is in very good condition, the photos hopefully show the good condition and there are no patches or leaks. The outboard is showing a bit more wear and tear and could do with a replacement prop but it is still extremely reliable and has always started on the first or second pull of the start cord even when cold.We originally used it as a tender to a motor cruiser for about four years, after this it has mostly lived packed up in the garage with just a few excursions over the years so it has really had very little use.In addition to the boat and outboard there is a fuel tank, seat and paddles all of which were originally supplied with the boat.I have included a video of the outboard running which should be available once Ebay have reviewed it.Due to size and weight it is collection only from Felsted in Essex.I will let the auction run until the end so please don’t ask for a buy it now price.
