This boat is quite simply awesome! Only for sale because my wife has decided I might just have a few too many toys. Something has to go and ebay doesn’t allow selling wives.
The boat – possibly easiest described by saying this is like a jetski, but a boat version where you sit in, instead of on. There are three really hugging seats across the rear and a 1-2 person seat in the bow. This boat is capable of over 50 knots and can easily pull a skier, banana, donut, etc. For tying up, there are four cleats and for towing, there is a transom mount for ropes. It’s got loads of power to get going quickly and then throttle off for skiing (15-18 knots on the speedo for skiing).
Also, it looks great!
Storage – there is a really decent boot under the rear door/bonnet/hood where there is enough room for ropes, fenders, anchor, bouncy aids, jackets, lunch, etc. The base of the rear locker lifts out to access the engines. There is also a long hatch in the floor where skis and paddles fit.
Engines – Two Rotax 957X engines, both completely rebuilt by Sea Doo engine specialists in early 2017 because I didn’t know their history and wanted to fully trust them if heading a good distance with the family on board.
Security – Sea Doo key serves as the kill chord too. It’s programmed to the ECU and without the key, the boat is securely immobile.
Trailer – Snipe breakback Trailer has had one side new bearings and I’ve the bearing kit for the other side, I’ve only done one so far but can have the other one done for collection so they’re both new. I’d also think of removing the brakes from the trailer as the boat is light enough anyway.
Fuel – inboard tank for petrol, which is filled from the fuel cap on the topside of the boat. As easy as filling a car with fuel, it’s right next to you when at the pump. The cap on the other side is for two stroke oil and the boat then self-mixes the oil and fuel.
So, the work that’s been done during 2017 (run for ±20 hours since) –
– Both engines fully restored
– New battery
– All new battery leads, with new isolator switch
– Both bucket control cables replaced
– Both steering cables replaced
– Automatic bilge pumps (2)
– Trailer has new winch (2018)
Work I’d like to do (if I was keeping it) –
– I’d like to recover the seats, they’d look great redone
– Redo the jet liners, they need done periodically and make a difference to speed (part is £20 and is quickly changed in 30 mins)
– New spark plugs for the new season (I can supply the part numbers to make life easier)
– Put a new bucket control lever on it, the one on it just now functions but is not as good as a new one would be.

We’ve had some really fantastic days out with this boat, visiting islands on the west coast of Scotland and playing with the towables on Loch Lomond and I’ll be sad to see her go, but the wife has spoken!
I’ve put a reserve on it of £3000 as I can’t afford for it to go too cheap as I’ve spend loads on her…. So go on, have a bid and help me out here or it’ll be the Land Rover I’ll be selling next!
If you’ve questions, just ask…
