Its time to let our lovely Yamaha WaveRunner go.
We bought it to have fun with the family either by itself or
with wakeboards, kneeboards and inflatables. All the family from our young nieces
through to our son and even an old bu88er like me has absolutely loved having
it in the family. But the son has joined the Navy, family have moved away and a
crocked knee mean that my wakeboarding days are over. So it hasn’t seen water
in 18 months and it should go to a new home.
It’s a Yamaha WaveRunner XL800, three seater model. It is
properly nippy and it has got plenty of power to pull water-ski’s and
wakeboards. It has been well looked after and winterised during the cold
weather. It was kept on a trickle charge and I started it every month to keep
it lubed.
So the good stuff:

Really good condition for its age. (186 hours).
·
Brand new battery (June 2018)
·
All new Hydro-Turf Matting replaced (I will
include the spare, enough to replace most of it again)
·
Starts pretty much first click and runs sweet.
·
Including hose adapters to flush cooling system after
sea trips or to run engine while it’s out of water.
·
Comes with galvanized winch trailer with
oversized brand new sand tyres. Bearing greased every year. Includes trailer
board (few cracks at the edge .

Registered with DataTag (New owner will have to
reregister)
·
It still has ¾ tank of fuel and 3 bottles of
oil. Bonus..!
·
Mostly used on lakes and thoroughly cleaned and
flushed after use.
The not so good stuff:

The trailer jockey wheel is a bit rusty, although
it still works and turns.
·
It has some scratches on one side and some
repaired damage (2 inches) on the right side.(see pics). The previous owner had
it tied up to a metal jetty without fenders.
This a lovely, well looked after machine which has got many
more years fun and touring left in it. Enjoy having a good look through the
