I am selling my 50ft narrowboat as I simply no longer have the time to spend on it due to buying a house and work commitments.Currently lying out of the water at Bluewater Marina inThorne, Doncaster.I bought the boat 2 years ago with a view to living on it for a couple of years. The boat was blacked when I bought it and also surveyed by Jonathon B Jackson which showed very little wear to the steel which was my main reason for buying as so many I looked at had issues. It is a quality boat built by John Debin Marine in 1990, 50ft long and 6’10” beam.It has a Vetus M4.14 diesel engine which will need a service as it hasn’t been run for a year. The wiring will also require reconnecting as these were taken out when the interior was removed. The exhaust has a split so will need replacing or repairing. It has been out of the water for the past year while I carried out the work so has had very little use since I purchased it.It has a BSS certificate which runs out on 19th July 2020.I didn’t like the original layout so I stripped the interior to create the perfect living space.I removed the ballast and painted the hull before refitting and replacing most of the floor. It has a nice log burner that functions perfectly and seating that converts to a double bed.The boarding out inside is nearly finished, all wiring is in for the lighting and flush fitting led lights have been purchased and waiting to be fitted once the interior is finished. It also has a new led front spotlight fitted.Although not fitted, I do still have the original calorifier that was fitted to the boat which will be put back on board and there is also an unopened tin of grey primer and blue paint along with lots of plywood, enough to finish the interior. This is a decent project that will make a lovely boat when completed and pains me to have to sell.
Current Price: £15000.00
