This is a 60ft semi-trad stern narrowboat built in 1994 by Mick Cull. I bought the boat over a year ago with the intention of doing the work required, but my increasing medical problems mean that much of the work remains unfinished. The boat is powered by a 4 cylinder 47hp Beta Marine diesel engine, which runs fine. The front cabin has a fitted double bed and a wood burner. The shower room is mid-vessel and contains the sink, shower and pump-out toilet. The rear cabin has a 3kw Backersafe calorifier connected to the shower and five radiators (2 front, 2 rear and 1 mid). A gas pipe is fixed in place, running from two 13kg propane bottles in the front locker to the rear cabin, ready for a gas cooker to be fitted. There are entry points at the rear, front and middle of the boat. Three new leisure batteries are fitted, and a BSS certificate is in force till Nov. 2026. 12v lighting is installed throughout the boat as well as 240v sockets, but an inverter will need to be fitted. An Eberspacher diesel heater is fitted in the engine compartment but I don’t know if it is functional. A kitchen sink will need to be connected to the pipe outlets so that the water system can be filled (see last photo). The previous owner informed me that the hull was re-blacked in 2021 and I can see six anodes fitted.Three of the window surrounds in the rear cabin have some rotten wood which needs replacing. The skylight has a leak, as do two windows (some silicone or new seals should rectify this). The front doors need some repairs as they have rotted at the bottom. A pine floor has been laid in the front cabin but not finished, so this will need doing. To stay with the boat:Wooden shelving unitTrestle tableSpare cassette toiletFree-standing generatorCamping cooker + 6kg bottle of propanePetrol chainsawSpare Webasto diesel heaterSmall inverterThe boat is currently moored on the River Lee in north east London and can be viewed there. Please be aware that it is sold as a project boat as there is work to be done, which is reflected in the price. Payment by bank transfer. Any questions please ask.Serious buyers only please.
