“The wonder” is a 32 foot rugby boat builders narrow boat built in 1995. It’s been my off grid live aboard for the past 7 almost 8 years with myself and my 2 daughters. Moored on the Huddersfield narrow canal between locks 3&4, the mooring is transferable if required subject to agreement with the mooring holder, a secure offside mooring with parking and toilet access.Full new Boat safety certificate until sept 2028, and  gas safe check.The hull is in great condition and the blacking has just been completed 26/3 anodes are in good condition so weren’t replaced, minimal pitting on the hull, again it’s been very well looked after.Comprising of 2 sofas on entry that double up as single beds or the table can be dropped in to make it a good size double. Plenty of storage under the sofas for bedding etc.Into the kitchen area with full size sink, Thetford duplex oven and grille, Thetford 4 ring hob and a Fridge freezer. 2 cupboards, 4 drawers and a deep pan drawer make for ample storage as well as the hanging over counter storage. The shower is a good size (im 6ft tall) with mixer taps and shelves for shampoo and soap etc, opposite the shower is small sink and space underneath for a cassette toilet. Further rear is 2 more sofas with drawers underneath for clothes, access under the cushions for more bedding and slide out drawers for kids toys, again these sofas can be dropped down into a good size double bed.All the sofa and bed cushions were made new in jan 2024 and have fully removable washable covers. The boat interior has been modernised throughout and extra insulation has been installed where required.All the windows were removed and resealed last year.12 volt LED stainless steel ceiling lights are fitted all the way along the interior which are switched individually. The kitchen area has led dot lights in the kick boards.The hot water is supplied by a Morco D-61B instantaneous LPG water heater. 3 x 12kg gas bottles live in the gas locker and the front of the boat.The 240v sockets are powered by a Renogy 3000watt inverter. 3 X 100amp Renogy lithium batteries with built in Bluetooth, less than 12 months old, power the 12volt electrics and the inverter. 2 new 500 Watt solar panels keep the batteries well charged in the summer through a 100/20 victron mppt solar controller. In the darker months there’s 30Amp DCDC charger to charge form the engine, and a victron 12/30/3 mains charger to charge from shoreline. With a renogy m1 screen to monitor battery use and charging. The batteries can be monitored remotely via the M1 if you have WiFi access. Central heating is supplied throughout the boat via Webasto diesel powered water heater. With a Heater blower in the front, a radiator in the shower area and a heater blower in the back. The heating can also be turned on/off via the Renogy app.“The wonder” is powered by Beta marine 20hp engine that has been serviced regularly and starts and runs great and the engine Bay Area is kept clean and dry. The exhaust silencer was replaced last year due to corrosion, the heat wrapping was also replaced.The whole exterior has been stripped back and protected with rust inhibiting epoxy grey primer before being painted.More pictures and videos are available upon request Viewing is welcome and recommended contact me to arrange viewing.
