The Rambler is a 35ft springer which was manufactured in Sheffield in 1989. Since then she has been refurbished with a clear classy look whilst making sure to maintain certain detailing that gives the boat it’s character.
The Rambler keeps the comfort and appearance of a home with the freedom of the waterways.
Is rising price of electricity getting you down? Well, The Rambler is fully powered by two 410w solar panels and Victron solar charger, 3 12v 110amph lead acid batteries, 1200w Victron inverter and Victron smart shunt. All of these can be monitored and controlled via your phone from the comfort of your sofa.
The kitchen has a two hob gas stove, Belfast sink with custom made draining board. A 12v swan 90L fridge freezer and a 45L motion sensor bin placed carefully around a beautiful oak counter top accompanied Moroccan wall tiles. The boat has 240v plug sockets and a LED lights mounted on the ceiling (6 of each). The mid section of the boat is where the bathroom is located. Much like the rest of the boat this area has a sleek smooth finish giving the space lots of light. The bathroom has a sink, cassette toilet and a single function shower with a shower tray located under the floor with a 220 gulper installed. The gas heater can also be found in the bathroom which supplies the boat with hot water. The 500 litre water tank can be found at the stern and is hooked up to the whale 15psi pressure pump which will provide all of the appliances with a consistent solid flow of water.
The living room consists of a sofa with lots of space for additional storage and a log burner with a kinetic fan that will heat the boat on those inevitable cold winter nights and mornings.
Fancy a trip away to somewhere for a long weekend? Well you can rest easy with the motion sensor lights, closed circuit solar powered security camera which is mounted on the front of the boat. You can access the video in real time and it has a built in GPS tracking system which will send you an alert to your phone if the boat exits the geofence.
This is also great for you if your wanting to continuous cruise, as you are able to track your boats movements.
All in all, The Rambler is boat full of character and a perfect way for you to start your journey on the waterways.
