Selling my Lovely Spinger as moving into a home down south. Purchased in 2016 she is in excellent order and has a current safety certificate till July 2021 and currently licensed and mored at in Milton Keynes. Since owning “Comus” I have had a full engine service and interior decoration plus altered some areas to give more space. Springer narrow boats are very tough and make lovely live aboard for single or a couple.Full survey when purchased and Made in 1973 by Springer Engineering Ltd she was re skinned in the 90’s and has 6mm all around.She has a Thorny Croft Mitsubishi Diesel engine “keel cooled” and auto selector from throttle which works a dream and is very smooth in operation and as all springer are, easy to maneuverer about.There are 2 berths. One double bed and a single settee which can extend to a further double. Bathroom has a cassette toilet and there is a separate shower area. Both toilet and shower can be closed off from the main area. The bow includes two large storage areas and the stern has plenty of space which can be used a separate room by a pram cover (not included) There are included both bow and stern rain covers. I have had fitted a fully working conventional electric fridge however there is also a small gas/electric fridge as well as gas hobs and gas oven. Hot water for kitchen and shower is by engine which also heats a single radiator. The hot water tank can be replaced if required with a hybrid electric/engine type so hot water can be available if fixed mored.Perfect for someone wants a lovely cruiser for the rivers and would make an ideal fixed home with some minor additions such as pump out toilet and heater as mentioned.Please contact me if you would like to view.
