2003 40ft Cruiser stern narrowboatThis beautifully made narrowboat shell has undergone a full restoration and is refitted to a high standard.The shell has been fully sandblasted back to bare steel and repainted top to bottom in 2-Pac epoxy paint including the engine bay.The Barrus Shire engine has been given a fresh coat of paint, fully serviced including a brand-new modern control panel and exhaust.There are 2 new leisure batteries and a new starter battery along with a mains battery charger and shore line hook up.Diesel central heating and a multi fuel stove in the lounge aera at the front helps to keep the boat toasty warm in the coldest of winters.Hot water is supplied from the water cylinder under the bed, this is heated from the diesel heating, running the engine or a 240v immersion heater,The galley has a gas oven and 4 burner hob, 12v shoreline fridge with icebox, new worktops with stainless steel splashback on the hob.The bathroom has a shower and sink along with a new cassette toilet still in its wrapper.the fixed double bed is 4ft wide with a new foam mattress and storage underneath.The sub floor and flooring has all been replaced so will last many years to come.All of the boats plumbing is new including the fresh water pump.The integral water tank was also sandblasted and painted in a 2-Pac water tank paint.The boat benefits from steel doors front, side and back and a pop-up hatch on a gas strut for ease of access.A bow thruster tube was fitted when the boat was built but no thruster fitted, a 40ft boat doesn’t really warrant one but you could have one fitted if you required. The boat safety certificate is new so has 4 years to run, and a full hull survey has been carried out.
