Welcome
to the sale of my beautiful 40ft narrowboat. She is only for sale due to
the purchase of a longer craft. We have owned her for 2 years and have done
considerable work to modernise her and make her easier to travel on. She is
moored near Chester.

External – She is a lovely cruiser
stern craft and is very attractive in green and maroon. She has 4 opening
windows on each side and has a maroon cratch cover fitted to the bow. There is
also a nice seating area in the bow which is very cosy. High capacity solar
panel is on the roof which is linked to a MPPT charging unit.
Internal – Enter the lounge from
the stern and you will find a very bright and comfortable seating area. The
sofabed is by Made.com and transforms into a comfortable double bed. A
multifuel fire keeps the cabin lovely and warm and I have fell asleep many a
time in the cream leather arm chair… The kitchen is next which is in high gloss
grey and then proceed down the small corridor, past the newly installed
bathroom (cassette toilet) and into the main bedroom. The furniture will be
included in the sale along with kitchen / cutlery equipment etc.
Systems
Engine – 3 cylinder Lister which has
been incredibly reliable and is married to a PRM hydraulic gearbox. We had the
alternator was upgraded in 2017 and it has been great.
Electrics – a combination of 12v
lighting and power sockets (tele and lighting) along with a 2200Watt pure sinewave inverter for the fridge, laptop and phone chargers. There is one starter
battery and three leisure batteries which are charged by the solar panel. I
have never had to run the engine since to charge up the system. There is an
electrical hook up connection in the bow and I will include the generator in
with the sale (No guarantee of condition as it has been in the shed since the
solar was fitted)
Gas – The locker is located in the bow and there is
room for 2 x 13kg bottles. These are used to supply the cooker and the Morco
boiler which supplies hot water to the taps and the shower.
