Here
we have for sale ‘Snowdrop’’ a 42ft Cruiser Stern narrowboat with 4 berths.

This
ex-hire narrowboat, built in 1978, would make a lovely home on the water or
fabulous holiday home for those wanting to cruise the Inland Waterways – these
boats rarely come up for sale and really must be seen to be appreciated. Snowdrop
comes equipped with everything you need to start cruising straight away and has
been meticulously maintained as part of The Wyvern hire fleet to remain
reliable for holiday guests. It comes with the reassurance of annual gas
inspections and a full B.S.S valid until March 2028.

The
boat has a spacious cruiser stern, with two useful storage lockers providing
fixed seating for crew and making it a very sociable area when cruising.
Underneath the deck there is access to the immaculate engine bay housing the
Beta Marine 38 engine (new April 2012) with PRM 260 gearbox. From this area
there are steps down into the rear cabin.

On
entering from the bow of Snowdrop, you immediately step into the bright and
airy open plan living area. There is a sofa that easily converts into a double
bed for any guests and a table for dining or working from home. There is plenty of room for a
stove to be installed to the right of the doors should you be wanting to live aboard
and there is a useful shelving unit to the right.

The
kitchen has a stainless-steel sink and tap and is fitted with a 12v fridge,
microwave, and gas cooker. There are base units and shelving under the gunwales
providing storage, this continues along the corridor towards the bathroom and
sleeping accommodation.

Moving
through the boat there is a bathroom with a shower, basin and pump out toilet
and then full-length wardrobe and plenty more storage. There is also another
useful basin with shelving underneath before you access the rear cabin
featuring two single beds which can easily convert into a large double bed.
Natural light comes from the windows and the stern of the boat can be accessed
up a few steps when the double bed isn’t in use.

There
are radiators throughout (and on both sides) of Snowdrop, ensuring warmth for
those cosy winter evenings. Hot water is provided via the twin calorifier by
the engine and the gas boiler.

Snowdrop
has a full survey dated 24th April 2024 and valuation report which are available when viewing.
All recommendations have been done.

Snowdrop
has been blacked every year, her paintwork is exceptionally well maintained, and
she has undergone regular maintenance and servicing. Snowdrop is being sold
with 3 months guarantee on her fitted equipment. Deck gear is included ready
for the new owners to start cruising.
