This 42ft (12.8 metres) ‘12 passenger’ tripboat is currently out of the water, having been used on the Grand Union Canal in Milton Keynes, and then on the Lagan in Lisburn. She was constructed in 2001 and is powered by a restored 1.5 litre BMC Diesel engine – still favoured in boating circles. She has a large fresh water tank in the bow which holds approx 136 gallons (616 litres). The toilet waste tank holds approx 76 gallons (345 litres). Large diesel fuel tank wraps around stern and forms part of deck structure, approx 45 gallons (205 litres). Diesel fuelled blow heating in passenger area, also LED downlighters and USB sockets on all hand painted tables. 1500 watt inverter, with 240v socket in engine room, and sockets in galley to facilitate a small fridge and a microwave oven, two more in passenger area, and another in forward hold for a second fridge. Toilet cubicle with sink, adjacent to the galley. Two separate passenger entrances, for port or starboard boarding as required. 6 tables means everyone gets a window seat. Passenger windows are double glazed and can be opened or lifted out as required. Outside twin propane gas bottle locker to supply a 4 burner cooker/oven. The tables in the passenger area can fold down on piano hinges (after removing each centre leg) leaving drink shelves above. This creates a larger space for less formal seating, corporate event, birthday party, Christmas function, hobby group etc.
This may provide someone with a business opportunity; as a trip boat, a cafe, a glamping pod etc.
