Ahoy! With a heavy heart, I sell my lovely home in central London: L’Abri (45 x 10 ft)L’Abri is a beautiful widebeam (10 X 45 feet) with loads of benefits. She is very well designed & equipped, modern, cosy and bright. After 2 years of cruising along London, I’m leaving the canal freedom life to travel abroad.The boat is professionally refurbished (kitchen/floor/bathroom). It has a spacious shower/bathroom, compost toilet (best thing ever) and an enormous water tank (the water tank can hold up to 160 gallons, so 2ppl can easily shower for 3-4 weeks). There is a super nice designed kitchen and loads of storage all over the boat. Strong solar panels included on the roof. And not least it comes with a gas hot water heater (Morocco) which means you never have to worry about hot water.The fireplace was installed in late 2015, the interior freshly painted last year and there is also a central heating system (Eberspacher) which requires a service. Compared to other boaters, I was a very fortunate captain as I was never suffering from mould or heavy cold in Winter, the boat is well insulated.Moreover, this is a perfect size and quite rare to find. Her length makes her easy to handle through locks, it is so easy to manoeuvre even by myself, and besides others, you can easily turn her around almost everywhere in central London.The boat needs quite a few small finishing cosmetic touches to woodwork in the boat.The boat was taken out of the water in October 2016 and surveyed.The boat was also blacked in January and anew in October 2016.The boat safety certificate expires 10/08/19The boat is perfect for a couple or one person live aboard.Please feel free to contact me for a visit!
