I have contacted them about alternative more traceable payment options. They have recommended PayPal transfer on collection as an alternative. This would be my preference although I will accept cash on collection as stated on the advert.In order for boat to be collected and exchanged buyer will need to set up an account with the Canal and Rivers Trust and get a continuous cruising or permanent mooring licence so that I can transfer the boat to their account. They’ll also need to get insurance for the boat in place before they can create an account with CRT. I am insured with Insure4Boats at £21.06 per month.
