For sale is my 50ft Narrow boat.Made by Hancock and lane ( 1978 ish ) please please no more dreamers. (My boat is dry docked in Stour port on seven ) it is transferable for the new owners. Also there’s a Crain available, so if you want to get it transported elsewhere no problem. there will be a fee ?It has had a new 8mm base plate tack welded in place . The new plate is the full length of the boats base. Has you can see in the pics I have already started on the big job of cutting out the bad bits out ready to weld in the new metal. This is a big project / refurb. If you can weld (A mig welder is available for hire  at the Boat Yard ) should you need one . The lad that owned the boat before me paid £5000 for the base plate plus it being tack welded on to the boat. I’ve just bought 4 sheets of 6mm 8×4 sheets ( £1300 ) so you’ve got your new base plate and plenty of metal sheet to crack on building your dream boat. My plan was to put new metal around the whole of the bottom section of the hull ( 600 mm from the base plate up towards gunnels. I have had the hull tested and the metal that I’m going ( was going to ) weld to is a good 5mm plus. I wanted everything that will be in the water to be new solid metal. This will be a long project but a worthwhile one. It’s a superb size boat 50ft. It does have some window /frames plus some glass slats with it  ( they was left inside the boat when I bought it. All the top of the ( is good metal as I mentioned. It’s mainly the bottom part that was in the water that I think needs making good. ( cutting out, new plate in ) there isn’t a engine. The shaft and prop are in place but no motor. Any more questions I will try to answer O7869l5OOOORegards Arron.

Current Price: £3000.00
