Welcome.Here I offer Hunter – a 54ft narrow boat, built by ABC Boats in 2018 with internal fit out being completed by the previous owner. She’s a cruiser stern, reverse-layout boat, entering from the rear directly into the kitchen and through to the open plan living room. The bathroom is situation centre of the boat, and then onto the bedroom at the front, with double doors opening out onto a weldeck.Hunter is in great condition, being only 6 years old. She’s spent all of her life as a liveaboard boat, and has spent most of her time docked on the canal or in a marina. The past 6 months I decided to take her out for a long trip, and become a continuous cruiser, so she’s only just started her life as a proper adventure boat! She’ll need to be blacked (taken out and painted below the waterline) within the next couple of years. Light wearing on the rubbing strake and general wear and tear from previous travels/bumps along the way.Hunter has just over 300 hours on the 38HP Barrus Shire engine – again, extremely underused, and I had a full service in October 2023 whilst cruising to keep her fit and healthy. The engine is hooked up with 2 alternators, to keep the starter and leisure batteries topped up when cruising.Hunter has a very large central multi-fuel burner, producing amazing heat and distributing it evenly across the boat.
