OK so we have decided due to our age and health problems to
sell our 57 foot semi- trad narrowboat. A Bourne boat sailaway it was launched in 2017.
With the hull treated by Debdale Wharf using their zinc plasma metal spraying
with a 2 pack top coat. Much admired the boat was painted and sign written by
Cheshire Brush and fitted out by JD Cornwall Developments with bespoke and
unique fittings. With a Kinver made full stern hood and front cockpit cover at
57 feet it is a go anywhere boat. A solar panel keeps the 5 service batteries(
120 AH each) a starter battery plus bow thruster ( Model Craftsman 55) battery
topped up when not in use. The 38hp Beta engine has only about 450 hours use
and serviced regularly. Although not necessary due to the Debdale treatment the
boat is lifted out each year for checking.
From the stern shore supply socket to a isolation transformer
( 3600va 230v to 230volt)to alleviate galvanic corrosion. Power running through
Vitron equipment, monitor, charger
60A/12V and inverter –Pheonix 12/3000 they supply a 240 volt and 12 volt
system. This includes a fridge freezer, washing machine, microwave and the Webasto
Thermo Top C central heating radiators and insulated hot water tank.
Bow chamber holding gas bottles supplying Gas hob and double
oven which has a stainless steel cover when not in use.
Stainless steel fresh water tank.
Flush toilet to waste holding tank monitored by a Gobius 4
Waste Tank monitor.
Full set extinguishers and CO2 monitor.
Down from the stern (the steps include a shoe store) into
the galley with cupboard port side with insulated calorifier tank and airing
cupboard over.
Starboard cupboard houses the Vitron equipment and fused
switch board.
Well fitted galley with plenty of quartz worktop housing a
sink/drainer and washing machine under.
Amble cupboards and draws with fitted cooker and fridge
freezer on the starboard side.
Moving forward is a dinette alongside the side hatch which
has additional glazed doors. The dinette seats not only providing excellent
storage but converts uniquely into a double bed suitable for the taller person.
Modern radiator opposite.
Forward again the starboard side has a L shaped fitted sofa
which has been used as both a single and can convert into a double bed. Radiator
opposite.
Door to hallway off of which is the toilet/shower room which
includes a vanity unit and flush toilet. This room has a wet room type
flooring. Heated towel rail.
Further hall door leads to the master bedroom. With amble oak finish handmade storage incorporating two full length wardrobes and two cupboards. A good sized
double bed which fitted between the two wardrobes can be raised when not in use
and is quick and easy to be put in place. With a radiator opposite this area
allows for an extra room with plenty of space either as a work area, quiet area
or even for maybe the Grandchildren on a wet day!!
Doors up to to bow with normal steel doors but includes
secondary glazed doors.

Incidentally a classic car maybe considered in part exchange. THIS IS EXTREMELY
COMPETIVELY priced at a minimum of £75000 but we are
NOT desperate so please no silly offers HOWEVER a quality pre-war touring classic car
in part exchange would certainly be considered.
