60ft narrow boat project for sale.Due to work contract now sending me overseas for the next number of years, I am now having to change my plans which is why I am selling my boat.This is a 60ft all steel narrow boat which has been stripped and had extensive new plating and welding.Engine and gearbox is in great condition.New base plateNew plating to Hull with D bars as per pictures. The old water tank which used to be part of the hull is no longer there and has now been converted to a storage compartment with water tank braces welded into front area for new independent tank to be installed.New steel front doors and steel decking area with lockers. The inside has been stripped down to the metal providing a clean shell to rebuild.It has plenty of windows, but they require reconditioning.The rear stern platform has been cut out ready for next stage welding.It requires a plate to the rear end of the boat and plate inside the engine area.Whilst there is plating and welding work to the rear, everything is is virtually ready to begin treating and rebuilding.My only reason for selling is purely down to my overseas contract which could be long term and I don’t now have the time to commit to convert the boat.The boat is dry stored whilst undergoing steel work repairs in Lichfield.At present the boat stands me excess of £20k+ but open to sensible offers.Please message me for further details
