Valkyrie had a complete repaint in October 2017, and also new carpets, curtains and upholstery this winter. Valkyrie will sleep up to 6 people comfortably as she has a fixed double bed, and the dinette and sofa convert into double beds if required. The galley is fully fitted with microwave, gas cooker and fridge. The bathroom has a pump out toilet and a fitted shower cabinet. The boat is powered by a Nanni engine and is fitted with an hydraulic bow thruster; the central heating is by gas to radiators, plus there is a Squirrel multi fuel stove in the loungefor those colder nights. Hot water is supplied by both the engine via a calorifier and by the gas boiler. 240 volt electrics are supplied via an inverter, she has 3 domestic batteries and a starter battery.Valkyrie is based at Braunston Marina, just south of Rugby.An 8% share entitles the owner to 4 weeks, one in each season, allocated by ballot at the AGM. Valkyrie is professionally managed for the owners by BCBM.
