Sadly the time has come to maybe my 60ft Narrowboat along, She’s a 1987 trad with a tug style bow, fantastic deck of nearly 10ft Boat safety until July 20She has been blacked with two pack paint in April 2019 when I bought her, along with new anodes and a complete survey, any work needed was carried out.I have since stripped the internal and painted the inside of the hull, replaced the ballast and fitted a new base floor as well as final floor consisting of granite in the front as a porch and hearth around the multifuel stove. The rest of the boat has 20mm solid European white Oak T&G flooring.She has had the 12v and 240v electrics renewed and a full engine service and prop shaft replaced as well. She is nearly finished and is requiring a bathroom and kitchen as she stands, All the hard work has been done! Now it’s a case of fitting out to your own taste.
