This has been my home for the past year – over which time I’ve invested a huge amount of time, love and energy into making this boat a treat to live on. Given her size, she is great for always finding a spot to moore up or turn around throughout London. The ceiling height is somewhere is the region of 6ft6in which gives her a very spacious feel inside. She was built sometime in the early 1980’s.Here is an overview of the investments I’ve made into the boat:- Recently blacked by the renowned Pete Wakeham (August 2020)- x6 New Anodes (August 2020), which combined with her previous 6 anodes (which still had some life in) she’s well equipped for the water for years to come. – Serviced SRL2 Lister Engine (August 2020) – runs perfectly with a lovely deep chugging sound. – Newly fitted guttering at front of boat to help deal with wet winter days (August 2020)- x2 New Leisure Batteries (July 2020)- X1 New Starter Battery (July 2020)- x1 320W Solar Panel (July 2020)- Top of the range Victron Phoenix Sine Inverter 24V 800VA -230V – Top of the range Solar Charge Controller 30A 12V/24V – With Display- Entire kitchen refit with stunning wood tops and Moroccan sink (May 2020)- Refurbished oven – beautiful green and black finish with new golden gas knobs.- New copper piping for water plumbing – Rewired all of engine electrics to maximise voltage efficiency from alternator (January 2019)- Bespoke cover made for the back stern – preventing water getting into engine bay, and good dry storage for wood/coal in winter (November 2019)Other items in the boat:- Gorgeous Made .com velvet sofa bed- Portaloo – Shower- Gas Boiler (immediate hot water for showers – no running the engine)- Lister Air Cooled SRL2 Engine- Coal storage box Overall, she’s a lovely boat for a couple or an individual – with a great large cruiser stern to host drinks on in the summer months. To give full transparency, the hull survey completed in August 2020 noted the base-plate as being a little on the thin side – and the surveyor suggested it would need over-plating in 5-10 years, costing around £5,000.I’d be happy to give anyone new to boating a few lessons of driving her.
