Beautiful 63ft Aluminium Narrow Boat “rainbow”

Here for sale is my fathers beautiful home of the last 2 years “Rainbow”.  She is a 63ft Aluminium narrow boat.  She was built by C.J.Marshall in 2008, out of  extremely strong 10mm aluminium all over and today she is still 10mm thick!  With aluminium you have no worries of rust.She is set up as a very comfortable 2 person live-a-board/cruiser with an engine room as you step down from the traditional stern, which houses the lovely, starts on the button, Barrus Shires diesel engine (with its own 12v starter battery and alternator), the brand new house battery bank of 4 x 110AH 12v batteries that are charged by a separate alternator on the engine, a 12v 3KW inverter with a 70amp charger or the 2 x 300w monochrystaline solar panels (These are great and produce good power even in cloudy conditions! They also are controlled by a 40amp MPPT controller).  The large water heater/calorifier is also housed here which can be heated either by electric (When on shore power), the engine or the Webasto water boiler, which also powers the central heating throughout the boat.A companionway leads from the engine room down the right hand side to the bathroom.  In it is a lovely full size walk in shower, storage for towels etc, a full size porcelain sink and an 240v incinerator toilet!  We love the toilet.  it is very easy to use, there is no smell.  All that is left of the waste is ash, which doesn’t have to be emptied very often. see https://www.cinderellaeco.com/gb.After the bathroom is the large bedroom with a permanent double bed and a large amount of hanging wardrobe space.  It has underbed storage as well and reading lights and a radiator.Carrying on there is a large cupboard before the kitchen.The kitchen is brand new and includes wooden worktops, lots of white cupboard space, a high level electric oven/grill and microwave.  There is a 2 burner gas hob, a large single sink with drainer, a washing machine, seperate tumble dryer, dish washer and large 12v fridge freezer.  There is a small breakfast bar which looks out one of the two side hatches which are very large and include roof openings and allow a large amount of fresh air to circulate.Following on is the large lounge area.  This has the same solid wooden floor as is throughout the boat, a large sofa bed that is a great occasional double bed.  There is a wonderful solid fuel burner with an eco-fan, access to the bow thruster battery, a very large T.V. with a fitted automatic location satellite system. The large glassed front doors open onto a lovely spacious front deck.The front deck is wooden covered and although it needs some TLC, is looks gorgeous.  There is access to the powerful bowthruster, the water tank and the gas bottle cupboard. There is a large 320l water tank (Possibly bigger) with an electronic water gauge.Outside Rainbow has a wonderful “Josher” shaped bow which enables her to effortlessly glide through the water and aided by the powerful engine and bowthruster, makes “Rainbow” a delight to wonder around the canal systems with.She has portholes throughout, all with porthole cushions which can be set to allow a large amount of light in whilst keeping the hot sun out!  The whole boat is very well insulated.
