Sadly I am having to sell my late father’s beloved boat. She is a beautiful historic boat and my dad lived on her as a continuous cruiser. I spent the first 10 years of my childhood living on her and have many fond memories. My father recently renovated the kitchen and living area, however she needs work in the shower room and backcabin could do with some work. Yarmouth was one of 24 Horseboats built by Braithwait and Kirk of West Bromwich for Fellows, Morton and Clayton in 1914. She was sold to Samuel Barlow coal company Ltd in 1942. In 1963 she was shortened to 61 foot 3 inches and converted for leasure use and renamed Golden Vally. In 1986/7 she was rebuilt by Roger Farringdon at Braunston. She was purchased by the current owners in 1992 and was home to a family of four for many years. She has a basic fit out with 12v lighting and usb sockets throughout. Very recently fitted kitchen. Belfast sink and thetford cooker are less than a year old and vey little used.
