Fantastic opportunity to buy a reliable 40ft day boat.
The boat was built in 1980 and has a steel hull with a wooden roof. The frame is made of hardwood and it has an aluminium skin.
The boat is basic and fitted out for weekends away. The huge 8×4 ft sliding roof is great for sunny days or lying on the bed gazing at the stars. It has a retro double sofa bed which is very comfortable.
The toilet is also retro and basic but easy to clean out.
The sink has a automatic pump operating the tap , fed from a large fibreglass water tank at the front.
The log burner has been fully refurbished with a new flu , new glass and sitting on a York stone slab.
The floors have all been replaced in the boat with new marine ply and finished of with wood effect Lino.
All new led ceiling lights and spot light at the front.
The boat was re wired and has a very basic set up.
The 2 cylinder air cooled lister engine is in fantastic condition and starts first turn every time.
The boat currently has a safety certificate exemption as it did not have gas on it when I purchased it although now I have fitted a large gas bottle at the back outside storage compartment and copper pipe through to a kitchen stove.
The hull was surveyed about 4 years ago when the last owner brought the boat for 30k
The leisure battery is a massive 70kg and holds 170 AH
I have a solar panel which needs a new control unit fitting , these are only £40.
As you can see from the pics me and my family have had a lot of fun with the boat but now unfortunately I plan to move away and so must part with it.
