For sale is a 1980’s
canal / riverboat 28 ft 4-birth cruiser, Aka “Misty Morning” The
boat is in reasonable condition and has had a lot of money spent on
it in recent months. (well over £1000, with receipts)
The engine is a
kubota twin cylinder diesel unit which purrs like a kitten. This
alone has had quite a lot of work done to it including new mounts, a
total re-wire of all the electrics, 3 brand new 12v batteries along
with a new control panel, new belts, stripped and cleaned the fuel
system and added a fuel gauge, replaced the fuel filters, new water pump (worth over £350 alone), recent oil and
filter change and gearbox alterations.
The Sonic z-drive
has also had work done to it including a new steering yolk, service
and new paint for up to 10 year life.
The boat has had the
electrics re-wired and new internal LED lights installed, new
curtains, new 12v solar system, TV and Ariel, it’s been stripped and re-painted underneath with
a 10-year copper-coat commercial grade black paint (worth over £100) and there have
been some alterations to the access at the back, making it easier to
get on and off the boat.
With it, there
is over 8 months left on the canal and river license and the location where the boat is moored is paid up until April 2019.
