Martha is thirty five foot long and, as previously stated, has an iron riveted hull and is beautiful to look at. Every rivet tells a story and she turns heads everywhere she goes. She has a two foot draft, a beam of six foot ten inches and generous headroom at six foot three inches. She has a fuel capacity of 250 liters and a water capacity of 450 liters. Things I have done on the engine include; reconditioned and re-calibrated fuel injectors, carbon cleaned out of cylinders, new starter, new fuel pump and tank, install of traditional wheel controls, chain and rods, new air filter case and filter…and much more. She runs “sweet as a nut” and is pretty to look at. Any vintage engine enthusiast will appreciate this Kelvin. There were only a thousand or so P2R’s made and Martha’s is one of them. The boat comes with three mooring pegs, one nappie pin, a lump hammer, a stern line, a bow line, a center line, a gaff, bumpers and a barge poll. The cratch cover is new in 2022 at a cost of £1,300 pounds and comes with the original template, for future repairs or replacement. The bespoke wood stove by Owen Thomas (I will miss this stove the most) comes with a new coal grate and spare door glass, as well as a poker, ash bucket and tools. There is a brass wrench for changing the gas, a windlass and a vandal key. Also included is a new seventy foot food grade water hose. I have also installed a new ceramic water filter. She has a shower with a Wale pump to drain it and there is another Whale pump in the bow to draw water from the tank to the taps and shower. She has a full tank of diesel and a Jerry can of Diesel is also included. Martha has a 1200/240 volt pure sinewave Victron Energy inverter, three new leisure batteries, a new starter battery, a BM-2 compact battery monitor and a brand new 40a-12v pro charge ultra smart charger by Sterling (very high spec for future proofing. If you upgrade your batteries to lithium you just need to slot them in). The saloon has two double 240 volt plugs sockets both with twin usb outputs and the engine room has an additional double 240 volt socket. Martha has a new CO2 detector and fire extinguishers fore and aft as well as a fire blanket. She passed her Boat Safety Certificate in November 2021 and will not need a new one for another three and half years. She also had her hull blacked with 2 pack apoxy paint at the end of August 2021. She is ready to go day one of purchase. For four years I had a king size sofa bed in the saloon with plenty of space left over, however for the past six months I have been sleeping on a new, single fold out chair bed that I find entirely comfortable, however the new owner may wish to add a topper or replace it entirely with a fold out sofa. Martha is currently in the water where she belongs and I still live on board. Martha is listed elsewhere so this post may end early.Note to purchaser.
