To start with can I say this is not a cheap old rusty boat that is going to cost you thousands to keep afloat, please go see some of them first before you come look at this boat to save us both a lot of time. I both live & work on boats so I can help with most questions you may have. The boat is a Mersey class 56ft long 7ft wide narrowboat that sleeps 4+ & is fitted with a larger 45hp Barrus Shire engine with twin alternators.heating:Eberspacher Diesel central heating with thermostatic rad’ valves & large hot water tank, Engine also heats water.electrics:New Sterling 2.5kw inverter with built in 80amp charger.Batteries. 2 new 180AH domestic, 135AH start, new 135Ah bow thruster.2 new 100W semi flex solar panels with controller keeps fridge running all summer long.12volt fridge with freezer compartment.12volt pump out toilet with black water tank gauge.12volt Tv & DVD player.Upgrade switch panel with battery check for domestic & start batteries.LED lighting. Fresh water tank gauge (very large tank).    Tv aerial & amp. Night running lights fitted & headlight.radio/CD player & speakers.Comes with:”For the asking price” you will get towels, bedding, dishes for 6+ glasses, pots & pans, fold out table with matching chairs, sofa bed & cushions, pole & plank, hammer & mooring pins, life ring, anchor rope & chain, keys, spares, etc, in fact all you need to go on holiday or live on board.Extras:The boat has front & rear covers & glass cratch board making a nice front well seating area that has built in storage boxes/seating for winter or summer use, The rear can be quickly removed/folded down/unzipped. I now have a smaller boat on a trailer for use on the Thames & the Sea.info:New boat safety end of last year & boat is serviced ready to go.Blacking still ok for a year or 2.Boat comes with full service history from new & massive folder of paperwork.The boat works as it should & is a joy to use.The boat has been used as a live aboard in a marina by the last Lady owner (I kid you not) & only seems to have been owned once before.The boat is very good on diesel & I run it to the pump out once or twice a week all summer & run it to top up batteries (filled diesel tank only once this year). We have used this boat a lot & its a cosy safe boat & the best boat (apart from our new £140K wide beam) that we have had. A very solid well looked after boat that’s ready to go & is ideal for river use due to the bigger engine. This would make a good live aboard boat with it’s storage, solar, inverter/charger & twin alternator engine.   Bad bits:Paint is a bit tired but if not sold I have the paint & will paint come spring (price will go up).No wood stove (No ash & dust all over & logs on the roof or dirty coal hands) but you could fit one if you wanted.Immersion heater may need replacing as I have never used it.
