Narrowboat for sale1991Liverpool hull 45 ft cruiser stern Narrowboat. Moored on the peak forest canal.Kobuta Nanni 1.4 diesel engine, currently not running. It last ran 3 years ago and requires the wiring looking at and fixing. Currently has no starter battery. I would recommend instructing a professional marine engineer to get this looked at. Boat safety certificate completed in Oct 2024 and valid until Oct 2028. Surveyed in Oct 2019 4 new anodes were fitted with some pit welds filled and and blacked in Oct 2019. I wiould look at bringing the boat out soon for survey and blacking with any corrective work that needs undertaking. There is currently a waiting list to dry dock. If any survey was required a 10 % deposit would be needed to cover the cost of blacking and welding. This would be taken of the sale price if a sale is agreed. Large open plan living room with sofa that can be converted into a bed. Multi fuel 4k wood or coal burning stove with double insulated stainless flue. All built to hetas regulations. Kitchen with sink waste pipe connected and working. The pipe work has been connected to sink but will require connections to water tank. Isolation valves have been installed and pipe work run to the front water tank and engine bay ready for a calorifrier hybrid hot water tank. Front well deck area with storage and catch pram covers, gas locker and coal store. Full 12v dc circuits wired up to a separate stand alone circuit. I have cables ready to be wired in to an inverter if required. 240v electrical hook up with double sockets available on both sides of the boat. Including breakfast bar area for appliances. This is on a fuse spur. 3 X solar panels 2 x 100w 1 x 80w 3 solar controllers feed 3 batteries on separate 12v dc circuits. Allowing the boat to run all the 12v dc appliances lighting, bilge pumps, extraction fans etc independent from the engine and shoreline power. I have opted for this system as I wanted the boat to provide energy without Turing the engine key. The boat requires finishing I have fitted a kitchen and there is a bathroom studded out with electrics fitted for waste pumps it is a project that needs completing. The boat comes with all the furniture and some kitchen equipment. There is no gas installed and will need that fitting if wanting to run butane appliances. I have a new barge pole and rope hook staff including lock keys, pins and windless. When I bought the boat it was fully stripped out, painted with red oxide, insulated with king-span and boarded out with marine ply. I have spent thousands on getting it up to the standard it is at the moment. I am working on installing further connections and pressure testing the water system ready for the shower and sink and water boiler to be installed. This boat is a blank canvas and ready for someone to put their own spin on. Currently moored in a marina. Any prospective owners would have to enquire about the possibility of taking over the mooring.I am able to help rope the boat to the moorings out of the marina. These are moorings with fantastic views of the set valley trail. Any repair on the electrics could be undertaken ready for moving on to the next location or moorings. If you were to take out breakdown cover the work may be covered under this. The buyer would need to provide a starter battery.
