This is a stripped bottom re-plated 50′ Colecraft Canal Narrowboat. It was floating on the Kennet & Avon canal when my late wife & I bought it during 2014. We sailed it to Devizes and lifted it onto a transporter lorry there. We craned it off into our rear yard in Moulton Chapel near Spalding Lincolnshire. We commissioned an inspection report from Andrew Tucker a marine architect/inspector and set about re-plating as per his suggestions. Unfortunately my wife was diagnosed with MND during 2014 and died during 2015.I now wish to move the boat on as clearly my circumstances are changed. The original scheme was to re-plate and re-fit using electric propulsion and modern inverter technology as is the modern way with boats. The bottom has been professionally plated by a coded welder and part of the sides await similar treatment.Cranage cost me £250 at Moulton Chapel, this was by AP Crane Hire of Quadring. I am pricing it at a sensible level that I believe makes it worthwhile for someone, ring me on 01406 380086 for a chat or further details. My other option is to cut it up for scrap!
