Here we have a Harborough Marine 40 ft cruiser stern narrow boat.May flower 3 has been my home for the last 6 years and in this time I have pretty much fully restored her to her former glory. She has been replated along her sides in 6mm overplate and she has had plating to her underneath. She was reblacked last year and I had new anodes fitted. she has a Lister sr2 engine they are bullet proof and it’s never ever failed me. The engine was serviced last year and had a new exhaust fitted.a new gear box was fitted 4 years ago and it’s not had that many hours use really as I have a private mooring which I rent, this may also be negotiable in the sale. She has got a hull survey and new boat safety certificate. The boat runs on 12v I’ve fitted two solar panels that do me nicely . 12v fridge freezer and 12 v water pump powering the sink and shower. I use a generator for any thing 240v. water is heated with a gas boiler. The living area consists of kitchen with oven fridge sink and storage and under seat storage, there is a seating area which makes up to a double bed situated next to the wood burner which is really cosy in the colder months. It has a bathroom area in the middle of the boat with shower and casette toilet.After you have the bedroom with a fold out double sofa bed and bedroom unit with wardrobe. Towards the front of the boat is a nice area for evening dining or just extra storage it has a locker which perfect for storing coal and tools the perfect mini shed . there is a ladder so u can climb out onto the front deck whilst cruising or chilling.May flower has just received a fresh coat of paint on the outside and I am giving the inside a freshen up this week and putting on a new front cratch cover. She is ready to be lived in or as used as a holiday home. She has loads of character and will be sadly missed but im settling down with my family and she’s just not big enough for all of us.viewing and questions welcome.more photos will be updated soon
