43′ live aboard narrowboat. Built by Harborough Marine in 1970 she is the daughter boat to the larger “Patience”. “Little Patience” has remained all her life in and around the Thorne area in Yorkshire. The hu?l was plated front to back in July 2022, new anodes fitted and 4 coats of epoxy resin, keep her hull painted every 4 years and it will last another 52 years. New Bush fitted to rudder. Engine fully serviced and the geargox is described as sweet as a nut . New batteries 2 leisure 1 starter. Diesel heating fitted December 2022. New electrics throughout wiring, lights, switches and sockets including a Sterling charger and 1500w inverter (keeps fridge/freezer, TV and phone/tablet chargers all working without shore power whilst you are cruising). The bathroom has a cassette loo, new vanity sink , new mixer tap, new pop up waste, new vanity unit and new thermostatic shower with new curtain. Kitchen is fitted with laminate flooring in grey and has new washing machine, new dishwasher, full gas cooker with 4 gas rings, new fridge with freezer compartment, plenty of draw and cupboard space, new sink and waste and new 4 metre grey worktop and splash back. A new water pump, accumulator and water filter have been fitted. There is a 13′ lounge that comes with all the furniture shown including a 50′ smart TV with digital ariel installed and the new sofa bed is a double with storage. All the curtains and blinds including rails are all brand new. There is a 4′ double bed in the bow bedroom that has a new memory foam mattress. It is finished with double glazed windows with privacy film. There are new fenders fitted bow and stern. The only thing left to do is to re-seal the top to the gunwhales with flexible adhesive, needs doing after plating is done, and to paint the top, gunwhales and deck . The top is fibre glass roof and marine ply sides and marine ply deck extremely easy to paint just needs sanding and marine paint, unlike steel tops which have to be sanded down to good metal. The interior has been fully redecorated. “Little Patience ” comes with all the crockery and cutlery, pans, kettle and microwave. There is a large airing cupboard full of storage space and a double fitted wardrobe. She has a cruiser stern so makes a nice patio and the garden chairs will be included and the parasol.
